Here is a sunrise on the Murray River looking towards the city. The river provides the irrigation water which is the basis of the wealth of the area.

In the distance can be seen the Mildura wharf and the Rowing Club Lawns which are significant because a quite number of the regional population may have been conceived in these environs.
